    Vera Corduroy Pinafore Dress

    $199.00

With its high-cut armholes, this is a dress you can wear with or without a top underneath. My heart will always belong to wearing a top underneath a pinafore dress, but it is fabulous to have the option to wear it without a top if you need to on a hot day like I have! Lovely corduroy, in Melbourne black.

This is such a great, comfortable, versatile dress, in a gorgeous fabric with a relaxed fit. And pockets, because who doesn't love pockets?!

Beautiful to look at, and divine to wear, this is a dress you won't want to leave in your closet this summer! This will also carry beautifully over into the cooler months as it layers well - a striped long sleeve top underneath is very chic indeed.

With the updated arm holes this is a much more true-to-size version, there's not as much room to move.

      More colours coming soon!

      Soft Imperial Armour

      Soft Imperial Armour
I’ve just spent the first properly cold weekend of a central Victorian winter engulfed in the most regal, toasty, and fun creation: an imperial-purple corduroy pinafore that felt like soft armour against the elements.
Heavy and warm, with a dense velvety nap, it cloaked all the unfashionable survival layers underneath: singlets, T-shirts, leggings, hoodie, knee-high knitted socks, all swathed in ankle-length cosy. The customised extra-long skirt hides my clumsy feet and gives an odd illusion of gliding. Very spooky in the fog!
This is a long-term investment piece. It’ll transition easily from winter to spring with just a few layers peeled away, dress up well with a structured collared shirt for the office, or head to the park with my nephews thrown over a T-shirt. Functional, striking, and superb. It’s already earned a spot in my regular rotation—and it was worth the wait, and every dollar.
